About

You don’t need permission to create.
You don’t have to wait for the right time, the right supplies, or the right label. You don’t have to be consistent, prolific, or perfect.
You just have to begin.
At Limina Creative, we believe creativity isn’t a luxury—it’s a lifeline. A form of presence. A way of becoming.
This space was created for those who feel the pull toward intentional, meaningful making… but who’ve been told they’re too busy, too distracted, or not “artistic enough” to follow it.
Maybe that sounds like you.
It used to sound like me, too.

A Note from the Studio
I’ve studied color theory, stitched quilts, torn paper into landscapes, photographed shadows, carved stamps, and painted with beeswax. I’ve chased beauty and stillness across every medium I could find.
But in the moments I needed grounding and connection, I always came back to stitching and story.
I used to struggle to call myself an artist—maybe you’ve been there too. But now I believe this deeply:
If you make with your hands and heart, you’re an artist.
You don’t have to earn that identity.
You don't have to live up to anyone's definition of artist. Even your own.
You just have to step into it.
Limina Creative was born from this truth:
That simple, soulful creative practice can re-center us, reshape us, and reintroduce us to ourselves.
That a stitched line, a mindful mark, a quiet project done with intention can change everything. No matter what it looks like or what anyone thinks of it!
So wherever you are on your journey—whether you’re returning to creativity after years away or just beginning to wonder what’s possible—I hope you’ll find something here that encourages you to pause, explore, and create.
You’re not behind. You’re not late.
You’re standing on a threshold—and you’re exactly where you need to be.
And I'm right here with you.
Let's journey together!
And let your creative life unfold.

How I Hold Space for a Complex World
I’m someone who feels deeply. Sometimes so deeply, it’s hard to make words.
You won’t often see me post hot takes or public responses to breaking news, politics, or tragedy, not because I’m indifferent (I’m not), but because I’m still learning how to hold that level of care alongside my mental health.
I care more than I can say. And I’m learning to protect how that care moves through me.
You do not owe social media your trauma response. You do not owe the public your opinions to prove your morality.
You owe yourself a creative life that is sustainable, steady, and honest. That’s what I’m choosing to build here.
This space isn’t about avoiding what’s real, it’s about honoring what’s tender.
At Limina, we create refuge in a world of noise.
We model creativity as care in a world that often commodifies it.
We elevate quiet voices instead of chasing attention.
That is a cultural response.
You won’t see headlines here.
But you will find depth.
Presence.
Practice.
And a quiet kind of hope.
One thread at a time.
